[ESP] Lucas de Mulder es un guitarrista y compositor natural de Madrid, España. Su carrera como músico comenzó tocando con diferentes bandas de la escena musical madrileña. Especialmente influenciado y atraído por guitarristas y bandas como Grant Green, Boogaloo Joe Jones, Eddie Roberts, Big John Patton, Lonnie Smith, The Meters, The New Mastersounds y Soulive, entre otros,  rápidamente encuentra su sonido para componer música instrumental, usando diferentes elementos del soul, el jazz, y el funk.

Recientemente, ha publicado tres singles como band-leader junto a The New Mastersounds y Nate Edgar, adelanto del album producido por Eddie Roberts, guitarrista de The New Mastersounds y Matador! Soul Sounds, que verá la luz en 2021 para el sello discográfico Color Red (Denver, USA).
Además, se le puede ver tocando con Beat Bronco Organ Trio (Rocafort Records), María Yfeu, Mighty Vamp (Sweet Records), Sabrosa (Beastie Boys Instrumental Music), y colaborando con Chip Wickham (Lovemonk), Martha High (James Brown backing vocals) y Lucky Brown (Tramp Records), entre otros. Además, forma parte de la banda residente de la Acid Jam que tiene lugar en El Intruso Bar, todos los martes en Madrid desde 2015.

Además, también es profesor, con diez años de experiencia en la docencia tanto con niños como adultos en diferentes colegios y escuelas de música de Madrid, así como en el conservatorio de música. Actualmente, ofrece un curso especializado para guitarristas de nivel intermedio que buscan ampliar su conocimiento y práctica del estilo de música soul / jazz y funk.

[ENG] Lucas de Mulder is a guitar player and composer from Madrid, Spain. Lucas started his music career in Madrid, playing with different bands from the local music scene.  Especially influenced by guitarists and bands like Grant Green, Boogaloo Joe Jones, Eddie Roberts, Big John Patton, Lonnie Smith, The Meters, The New Mastersounds and Soulive, among others, he quickly found his sound to compose instrumental music using different elements of soul, jazz, and funk.

Recently, he has released three singles as a band-leader with The New Mastersounds and Nate Edgar, as an advance of the album produced by Eddie Roberts, guitarist of The New Mastersounds and Matador! Soul sounds, that will be released in 2021 for Denver-based record label Color Red.
He can also be seen playing with Beat Bronco Organ Trio (Rocafort Records), Maria Yfeu, Mighty Vamp (Sweet Records), Sabrosa (Beastie Boys Instrumental Music), and collaborating with Chip Wickham (Lovemonk), Martha High (James Brown backing vocals) and Lucky Brown (Tramp Records), among others. In addition, he’s part of the Acid Jam that takes place in El Intruso Bar, every Tuesday in Madrid since 2015.

Additionaly, he is also a teacher, with ten years experience teaching for both kids an adults in different schools and music schools in Madrid, as well as music conservatories. Currently, he is offering a specialized course for intermediate guitar players looking to further their knowledge and practice of the soul/jazz and funk music style.
